We Live NY Summit 2011

Young professional groups from across the New York state team up for We Live New York From March 24th to the 26th at Statler Hotel at Cornell University in Ithaca. The We Live NY Summit is part of an ongoing effort to inform, empower, and connect young professionals from all across New York State. Through 5 programming tracks, the Summit hopes to inspire attendees to take action in their own communities.

We Live NY

This statewide Summit is organized by young professionals and is directly programmed to show how young New Yorkers have found purpose in their lives and communities and are making progress towards a bright future in our State. The Summit’s five programming tracks include — Business & Entrepreneurship, Political & Civic Engagement, Cuisine & Culture, Neighborhood & Community Revitalization, and Health & Wellness — and will provide unique opportunities for attendees to hear from and network with successful peers. There will be opportunities to participate in training seminars, pitch competitions, debates and other engaging activities.

The event is open to anyone who is interested in focusing on how to draw a new generation of residents to reestablish upstate New York’s economy. Syracuse’s young professionals group says they also intend to go over how someone can create a similar organization in their community, if they lack one. The organizers are expecting to draw at least 800 participants. You can learn more and be a part of this event by visiting the Summit website. The full Summit Agenda is now available as well to see descriptions and speakers for each session.

The We Live NY Summit is hosted by 40 Below (the young professional group from Syracuse), Pipeline 4 Progress (the young professional group out of the Southern Tier), and We Live NY (the statewide young leaders group). Image Agent is proud to be the official Sign Sponsor of the We Live NY Summit.
